The idea of her jewelry collection is to reintegrate ancestral medicinal practices in a contemporary way, both through original design and a scientific approach – the well-being and respect for the elements that surround us remaining at the heart of her approach. The designer wishes to highlight the benefits that crystals have on our body, in particular.
THE DESIGNER
Soon Joo Henry from Hassonville started studying jewellery and very quickly became passionate about stones and minerals. She trained in gemmology at the S.B.G. (Belgian Society of Gemmology) from which she graduated, she also obtained a European diploma at the F.E.E.E.G.
It has participated in mineralogical fairs in Europe, thanks to which it has been able to critically select the natural stones, generally rough, that it has assembled and associated with metals to enhance them.
The designer wishes to promote short circuit trade, by favouring collaborations with retailers who extract the stones with the greatest care and respect for the environment.
